Status Audio wanted a 20-second commercial for the Status Pro X earbuds, focusing on the heavy bass and powerful built-in subwoofers. The goal was to make the audience visually feel the deep "boom" and bass response of the subwoofer before assembling the full earbud and case.
The Challenge: Take the client's pre-textured 3D models and build a fast-paced, high-energy animation that visually demonstrates deep bass frequencies, subwoofer vibration, and internal component engineering.
Execution & Workflow
Animation & Dynamics: Animated the subwoofer to vibrate and pulsate to the beat. Used particle physics and shockwave effects to visually show the heavy bass hit and impact on the surrounding environment.
Component Assembly: Created a smooth exploded-view assembly showing how the subwoofer, circuit board, and outer casing lock together into the final earbud design.
Editing & Color Grading (DaVinci Resolve): Brought the rendered passes into DaVinci Resolve for final video editing, precise beat sync, and color grading to give it a sleek, high-contrast, premium look.
