Midland Radio commissioned a 30-second feature-callout animation to spearhead the global launch of the ClipTalk™—a revolutionary, ultra-compact wearable radio. This project marked a significant milestone for the brand as their first-ever product launch utilizing high-end 3D animation.
The Challenge :The objective was to visualize the internal engineering and compact nature of the "smallest radio in its category" while maintaining the rugged, premium feel of the Midland brand.
Execution & Workflow
Workflow: Processed raw manufacturer CAD files for production-ready geometry.
Modeling & Texturing: High-fidelity material authoring and assembly in Blender.
Visual Techniques: Utilized complex exploded views and X-ray technical shots to showcase the internal components.
Post-Production: Final cinematic color grading and compositing handled in DaVinci Resolve to ensure a premium, hardware-focused aesthetic.
