Cougar Gaming Chair is a cinematic lighting and camera showcase designed to capture the premium, aggressive aesthetic of modern gaming hardware. This independent project focuses on creating a high-impact product reveal using advanced lighting techniques.
The Challenge :The goal was to establish a moody, high-end studio atmosphere that highlights different material textures—like leather, stitching, and matte plastics—without losing details in deep shadows. The animation needed smooth, professional camera pacing to create a sense of scale and premium quality.
Execution & Workflow
Scene Composition: Staged and framed the asset within a clean studio environment in Blender to achieve maximum cinematic impact.
Lighting & Look-Dev: Designed a dynamic three-point lighting setup with precise rim lights to emphasize the sleek contours and vibrant orange accents of the chair.
Camera Animation: Choreographed smooth, precise camera sweeps and pan transitions to showcase the product from multiple hero angles.
Post-Production: Handled final editing, subtle color grading, and atmospheric sound design inside DaVinci Resolve to tie the entire sequence together.
