Kreo Swarm65 is a conceptual product commercial designed to highlight the premium build and customizable nature of a compact mechanical keyboard. This independent project focuses on creating a fast-paced, high-fidelity ad showcasing internal engineering and hardware features.
The Challenge :The goal was to present complex technical features—like hot-swappable components, custom lighting, and mechanical switches—in an engaging, cinematic way. The animation needed to maintain a sleek, modern desktop aesthetic while utilizing rapid, beat-synced transitions.
Execution & Workflow
Modelling and texturing: Modeled and textured the keyboard chassis, keycaps, and desktop environment from scratch in Blender, utilizing an optimized CAD model for the switches to ensure accuracy.
Geometry Nodes: Developed custom geometry nodes to automate and precisely control the dynamic floating animation of the keycap array.
Post-Production: Handled the final color grading, pacing, and detailed sound design (SFX) inside DaVinci Resolve to create a punchy, energetic final mix
